Wedding ceremonies needs careful planning and energy and it’s going to need a wedding celebrant that you feel comfortable and confident with, who can guide you through the maze of options available.

Marriage is a huge step for anyone. It’s the joining together, physically and emotionally of two individuals who have different backgrounds and histories, but whose desire to spend the rest of their lives in each other’s company means it’s time to take the next big step.

You agree on a date, a place, and a time. I am available for wedding ceremonies in Sydney and Australia wide. I am happy to perform religious ceremonies if you wish.

Do you or your spouse-to-be have children? If so, then you are not just getting remarried, together you are creating a new family. Celebrate your new marriage ceremony in a way that wisely and joyously embraces the children in your lives. Include the children in your wedding vows and as special participants in the wedding ceremony. Thank them for being open and welcoming about your new marriage. Together, we can design a creative wedding ceremony that will include every member of your new family.

Arriving at least 20 minutes before the Wedding Ceremony to ensure chairs, tables flowers etc are in place, set up the PA in the best position, liaise with venue staff/musicians, etc.

Ensuring all official paperwork is in order and sent promptly to the appropriate Registry office. I am covered by professional indemnity and public liability insurance. On average I would spend between 7 – 12 hours on each wedding.

You will also get a celebrant who spends a lot of time making sure you get everything right.

There are no short cuts to well prepared successful ceremonies.

A non refundable (if you cancel) deposit of $350 is required within 14 days of lodgement of your Notice of Intent in order to confirm and secure your desired date and time.

Most of the Wedding Celebrants in the Sydney area support each other, so should I be unavailable on your selected day due to an unforeseen emergency, I’d be happy to try to find you an alternative Wedding Celebrant.

Interviews available 7 days a week

Interviews are available 7 days, 9.00 am to 9.00 pm by appointment at Jan’s home in Mona Vale or once a month I take appointments in the city.

Weekeday Weddings

Different couples have different requirements. The no frills option is available to those who desire a simple short legally binding marriage ceremony.

Why get married in the Government Registry Office when you can choose your own location and be surrounded by as many friends and family as you wish!

Parks, beaches, gardens, restaurants, in the office, over lunch, at home, at the airport or even in a hot air balloon. The choice is yours.

A Wedding Ceremony usually takes about 20 minutes depending on the type of ceremony you choose. It’s your special day and should be everything you want it to be.

All legal aspects of the ceremony and legal documents are fulfilled as per The Marriage Act 1961.

We felt very prepared coming into the big day knowing Jan had the ceremony under control and would help us make sure we did everything correctly. Zoe our musician passes on her thanks as she said you were a big help in keeping her calm before the ceremony when she couldn’t get her sound equipment working, you went above and beyond! Jack also said the same that you were very calming and helped settle his nerves while waiting for me to arrive.

We loved that you took the marriage ceremony seriously as it is a very serious commitment, but at the same time your lighthearted jokes through the ceremony as well made it very relaxed and enjoyable for all. (I still giggle thinking about your comment when Jack was picking out my ring from the box that ‘the brides is the one with all the diamonds” and when he was struggling to get it on and you said “he just wants to make sure its on firmly and can’t fall off”.
